Welcome to my photo gallery!
These snapshots capture my first year of gardening—a journey filled with growth, learning, and plenty of trial and error. Each photo tells a story of the challenges I faced and the rewarding moments that deepened my love for gardening. I hope these images inspire you to start your own journey and embrace the beauty of growing something from the ground up.

Soil is extremely important for growth. I tried three different kinds before I found one that was affordable and great for my garden.

My garden starter set. I started with small starter plants from my local Fleet Farm.

My first attempt at growing a Gooseberry bush. I tried twice and couldn't get it to grow. I did learn that pots with built in drainage helps eliminate overwatering.

My starter plants after about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks of growth. The two sticks were my second attempt at growing Gooseberry bushes. They remained sticks all summer.

As the summer got hotter, I adjusted my water schedule from once a day to twice a day.

My cucumber plant starting to flower.

Seeing my first cucumber grow was the best feeling ever.
My very first cucumber.
I eventually got a raised garden bed for my tomatoes and berries.

My tomato plants first bud.

And then I got a second raised garden bed and created a big one bed to add my squash.

I wasn't expecting to grow much my first year, but I grew enough produce to share with neighbors.
